Efforts around proposed developments for South Cooper Mountain have been making the news of late, particularly this story from this past week:
http://www.oregonlive.com/beaverton/index.ssf/2014/12/south_cooper_mountain_key_issu.html#incart_river and also of interest is an accident in the local vicinity which touches on one of our specific concerns: the location of mailboxes on these unnecessarily busy streets. http://www.oregonlive.com/sherwood/index.ssf/2014/12/more_details_released_on_car_i.html#incart_river Finally, a continued public hearing regarding South Cooper Mountain Community Plan is scheduled to take place at the Planning Commission meeting in the City Council Chambers on Dec. 10 at 6:30 p.m. Public Hearings offer opportunities for public testimony of NEW information – if anyone has NEW information to add, please feel free to use this additional hearing to continue to impress our issues regarding 175th. It's always wise to continue to use every opportunity to keep this issue on the Planning Commission’s radar screen. Please check the Beaverton Planning Commission website for information. This letter will be delivered to members of the Beaverton Planning Commission at their public meeting tonight, December 3rd, by Ray Eck representing the CPO6 Steering Committee; this copy is provided for your information. These same issues will be a major topic of discussion at the CPO6 monthly meeting December 4.
